Prepping for Your Painting Project
with Wall Preparation & Repair
In order to get the best results from your painting project, wall preparation and repair is a must. Prior to each project, Roll It Out prepares each surface for paint by:
- Removing old caulking and replacing it with new sealant
- Drywall or plaster repair, including filling holes and minor cracks or sealing stains
- Sand, wash and prep walls for paint
- Remove and wash electrical plates
- Remove light fixtures as required
Protecting Your Belongings During a Painting Project
When painting a client’s home, we strive to treat their belongings with extreme care. Before we start painting, we’ll do our utmost to protect their floors, furniture and more by moving or covering furniture, covering floors with drop cloths or paper, or remove and stow fixtures safely away. Once painting is complete, we’ll then return each belonging to its rightful place in its original condition.
Prepping Outdoor Surfaces
Whenever you begin a new exterior project, cleaning and prepping your outdoor surface is a must. Before beginning your exterior painting, staining or sealing project, we first pressure wash the area to remove any dust, dirt and debris. As needed, we’ll also sand and prime your exterior surfaces to ensure a professional finish every time.
